What you'll do

Reporting to our Group Data Management Lead, you will be part of a small team looking to meet our Group Data Management ambitions by supporting the implementation of our data management framework and controls across the Woolworths business units.

In this role, you will work with multiple business groups, building and maintaining strong relationships. You will use your ability to support a diverse set of stakeholder groups to effectively manage their data management requirements, and contribute to our goals of safe and trusted data.

Work with the data and analytics community to support their data management and data governance activities, including identifying and documenting CDE, Data flows, datasets through data management tools like Collibra. Apply the group data management and governance framework within a specific business unit. Perform active stewardship through engaging with business and technical teams to ensure data is well documented, understood and continue to drive value. Organise and conduct workshops to track, help resolve issues impacting business and technical stakeholders. Champion and support data cataloguing, data lineage and data quality integration in Collibra Onboard, train and provide support to Data Stewards, Data Owners within the Business and functional units the support Woolworths group. Continue to build and develop Woolworths group data standards, policies and procedures. Have a strong understanding of data quality methodologies, metrics and data quality tooling.

What you'll bring

We are looking for a data management / governance and Collibra specialist who is able to provide support to our business units, to lift their governance capability and adoption of Collibra as the data governance tool.
Our successful candidate will be an analytical, delivery-oriented Data Management professional who is able to work with stakeholders and leaders across the group to effectively identify, implement data management / governance solutions in support of a stream of work delivering advanced analytics capabilities.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable digging into complex processes and data related challenges, bringing together multiple stakeholders and diverse viewpoints, documenting what "good" looks like and how we get the best from our data management platform, Collibra.

A Bachelor's degree in Technology, Data Management or equivalent 5+ years experience working in Collibra and data management practises Experience in working with data governance tools like Collibra. Experience in developing and maintaining best practice process and data solutions Proven experience in building and maintaining strong collaborative working relationships A demonstrated history of working in enterprise wide data governance programs. Good oral and written communication skills and ability to adapt communication styles to suit a range of audiences An ability to communicate complex information in a simple and consumable way Flexibility to work effectively in cross functional teams to share knowledge Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
