As a Design Draft Person, you will be be responsible for:

  • The delivery of conceptual designs, detailed AutoCAD Drawings for our structural/ civil projects.
  • Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary team of engineers, project managers and checkers.
  • Quantities and Project cost Estimates (training will be available).
  • Preparation of Tender Documentation and Tender Evaluation (training will be provided).
  • Contract Administration and Management of Civil Contractors (training will be provided).
Critical to your success in this role is your:

  • Associate degree in civil Engineering.
  • Advanced Diploma in civil Engineering supported by a relevant technical or 'trade' qualification.
  • 5 years plus relevant experience in structural or civil drafting knowledge and skills.
  • Current Drivers Licence (Class C) Desirable.

Additionally, you will have:

  • A strong capability in the compilation/modification of 3D models and AutoCAD drawings.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the safety requirements of design, construction and maintenance associated with High Voltage substations.
  • A basic knowledge and understanding in Contract Administration.
