We are looking for a talented Assistant Warehouse Manager to help us transform the way rugs are sold online This is a full-time role based in our Sydney warehouse in South Granville.

Miss Amara is looking for an Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our award-winning team and our fast-growing business. With our business expanding we need a strong, motivated and energetic member to be part of a team that will support our Warehouse Manager to help get rugs to our customers


This is a fantastic opportunity to get in early with a high-growth e-commerce startup with great potential for career progression as the company expands into new markets.

The role will be located at our warehouse South Granville.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular audits and cycle counts.
  • Uphold and promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Monitor stock levels and collaborate with procurement to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained.
  • Implement and enforce efficient inventory storage practices.
  • Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Implement and enhance order fulfillment processes to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and condition of shipped products.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in inventory management in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
  • Knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices, including cycle counting and auditing techniques.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software systems for tracking and monitoring stock levels.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with procurement, crossfunctional teams, and external stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory records and order fulfillment processes.
  • ForkLift (LF) and Order Picker (LO) license is an advantage.
