THE OPPORTUNITY


In the foundry, you will be sand moulding and casting a wide range of different products including rudders, skegs, couplings, propellor and coupling nuts, stern tubes, deck hardware, deck hatches, bespoke furniture and more.

You will be using induction furnaces, grinders, guillotines, and other various equipment.

Undertaking this
four-year apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become qualified in Moulding and Casting and you will earn your
MEM31719 Certificate III Engineering
Casting and Moulding.

ABOUT YOU

  • Must be clean shaven as you will be wearing a fitted mask
  • Able to work in hot conditions
  • Hardworking person who can work well in a team
  • Willingness to listen and learn
  • Mechanical aptitude and previous experience with machinery
  • Punctual and reliable early starts
  • Forklift license or willing to obtain
  • Reliable vehicle and Current drivers' licence
  • White Card
  • Successfully pass a Preemployment medical
