Security (Information & Communication Technology) This ASX Top 200 listed business is a hugely successful brand in Australia, operating with around 10k employees.

You will join the organisation as they pass through a significant period of transformation in cyber - with a new CISO onboard they are embarking on a significant cyber uplift programme.

The Role Reporting to the Group CISO, as the Head of Cyber Security Operations you will be responsible for building an effective Sec Ops function from a low maturity.

You will define the roadmap, build on current capabilities, and manage incidents effectively.

Your roll will be split between improving operational capabilities, developing the strategy, growing the team and networking across the business as the central security function to improve processes & controls across all business units.

You will operate in a cloud centric environment hosted in Azure, the company is heavily adopting cloud technologies so experience in Azure is essential.

Skills & Experience In order to be successful in this role you will need the following: Experience in managing/developing a security operations capability (either an in-house SOC or managed service provider); Experience in developing a Sec Ops capability - improving processes across detection & incident response; Extensive hands-on technical background, with experience in cloud hosted environments; Experience in Azure hosted environments is a non-negotiable; Strong communicator with an ability to network & engage across business units internally; and Experience in complex environments preferred - able to influence and improve processes across a federated or complex environment.
