Job Summary

Directly responsible for the overall HR function, with support from Corporate centralized HR management, for onshore and offshore employees. Ensures compliance with local employment legislation, regulatory bodies and industry body standards. Maintain HR system of record for personnel. Provides development to HR team. This role will be responsible to manage the HR Supervisors in India and Singapore.

Job Description:

Key Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provides local HR support to onshore and offshore workforce through collaboration and engagement activities on all aspects of HR related activities.
  • Monitors onshore and offshore staffing requirements and manage workforce planning activities (succession, personnel movements locally and overseas, promotion, redundancy process). Work with Business Partners to ensure aligned approach.
  • Manages performance management issues offshore or onshore (disciplinary, grievance).
  • Collaborates with centralized Corporate benefits on management and administration of benefit plans and related projects. Liaise with external benefit providers. Manage external Occupational Health Provider.
  • Assist marketing and contracts department with customer contract tender information.
  • Participates in the audit process to demonstrate compliance. (Regulatory bodies/HSE/ISO, customer.
  • Monitors and ensures legal compliance with local employment legislation, regulatory bodies and industry body standards. Implements associated policies and procedures.
  • Provides support as local focal point for facilities related queries.
  • Responsible for maintaining regional level 2 training matrix and oversees training compliance.
  • Responsible for annual offshore Trade Union wage negotiations and employee consultation matters.
  • Provides support to payroll.
  • Manages local budgeting and forecasting processes.
Education

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or another related field.
  • Preferred Level: Master's Degree
Experience
Minimum Required: 7+ years' experience in HR related function.
Preferred Level: 10+ years' experience in HR related function. Management experience. Oil and gas experience preferred.
