Who are we looking for?:
What can you expect to be doing?
You will work with a multi-disciplinary team of relationship counsellors and family violence workers, providing high quality counselling and group work for clients in the South and West of Adelaide.
The aims and objectives of this role include:
- Conducting Couples Counselling using the Gottman method
- Cofacilitating relationship themed groups, including healthy relationships for individuals and couples.
- Participating in group supervision with other professionals
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification (degree level) in Human Services or equivalent.
What do you need to bring?
- Extensive experience working therapeutically with individuals, couples and families.
- Demonstrable experience working with clients who are experiencing or have experienced domestic abuse.
- Demonstrable experience working in group settings, both therapeutically and educationally.
- A clientfocussed approach that is flexible, solution orientated and values diversity
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with key service partners
- WH&S knowledge and skills suitable for the position
- Work within a team environment in accordance with AnglicareSA values
- Proven ability to work in a culturally humble and competent manner.
