About the role

We are currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Payroll Manager to manage all aspects of NWG's payroll end to end, ensuring compliance to all processes and providing monthly reports and reconciliations.

Reporting to the CFO and working from our conveniently located Noble Park office, the role involves:

  • Processing fortnightly employee payruns
  • Producing monthly payroll accrual reports
  • Preparing PAYG tax payment weekly
  • Conducting regular reviews of payroll processes, ensuring the business is operating within relevant regulations, policies and laws
  • Managing year end to ensure compliance with the ATO, State Revenue Offices and Workcover

Skills & experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience within a similar payroll role
  • Previous experience managing a team (desirable)
  • Qualifications in Finance/Accounting (desirable)
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Strong written & verbal communication
  • Proven ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Proficiency in the use of various Microsoft Office and payrollrelated software
