Due to an increase in workload, RSC Global Pty Ltd are seeking to appoint a Resource Geologist to join our team on a permanent basis for work based in Perth. This is a full-time role.
The Role
- Reporting to a principal resource geologist, to be considered for this role you will require the following attributes and experience as a minimum:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in geology or geological engineering.
- At least five years' experience in the resource geology and exploration geology industry with exposure to a variety of commodities including precious metals, base metals and critical raw materials.
- Extensive background in exploration alongside mine geologist experience in production environments.
- Australian exploration industry experience is highly desirable.
- Experience working in the exploration industry in Southeast Asia is highly desirable.
- Ability to translate English to Turkish is highly desirable.
- Experience with QA/QC processes for reporting in accordance with JORC.
- Experience using portable XRF, SEM, optical microscopy and XRD including data acquisition and data interpretation.
- A deep understanding of mineral systems science to be able to complete assessments of projects using the mineral-system-science approach.
- Excellent report writing skills.
- Proficient in the use of 3D modelling and estimation software (Micromine, Datamine Studio RM, ArcGIS, Leapfrog and Isatis).
- Proficient in performing Uniform Conditioning and Localised Uniform Conditioning non-linear resource estimates alongside Kriging, Inverse Distance Weighting and Nearest Neighbour linear resource estimates.
- Proficient in R&D project facilitation.
- Need to be willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing (as required);
- Hold a Radiation safety and apparatus certificate.
- Hold IOSH safety management certificate (or similar).
- Have a current WA Police clearance; and,
- Hold a full, clean manual WA driver's licence, or international unrestricted licence.
- Candidates who do not meet the specified job criteria listed will not be considered for this role.
