Dental/medical Receptionist

As an experienced Dental/Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our practice.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- greet and welcoming patients
- assist patients to complete all necessary forms and documentation
- verify and update patient information and ensure patient information is accurate including billing information
- enter patient information into data system
- obtain external referrals and x-rays from patient's GP or Dentist
- schedule patient surgery appointment in hospital or our rooms
- inform patients of payment for schedule surgery
- invoice and receipt patient payments for consultation and surgery appointment

  • Prepare and supply surgery list/consent forms/ admission forms to hospital and anaesthetist
- prepare patient charts with relevant forms for surgery
- confirm upcoming appointments and recalls
- co-ordinate patient appointments with other specialist
- ensure reception area is well maintained, neat and clean

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental/Medical Receptionist
- excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
- demonstrates high regard for patient confidentiality.
- can adapt to changes and handle challenging situations with composure.
