The Company.

Due to an increase in work volume within the NSW Government sector, a respected Government organization based in the Parramatta are seeking a HR Advisor for an immediate start on a contract until July 2023 with strong likelihood of extension.

This government department play a crucial role in the growth and development of NSW.

The Job.
Reporting through to the Manager of HR, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Providing HR service and advice in relevant areas such as recruitment, legislation, change management, job design, learning and development, WH&S, workforce planning, performance, employee relations, industrial relations and talent management
  • Contribute and implement a range of HR projects, plans and tools to respond to future challenges
  • Contribute to the evaluation of HR strategies, policies and business process and programs
  • Research and prepare advise to contribute to responses to Senior Management and Business requests

You.
To be successful in this HR Advisor role, you must have experience in the following areas:

  • Ideally you will have a minimum of 12months experience in a similar HR Advisor role with a Generalist focus
  • Previous experience in a large, complex organization such as Government, Financial Services, or Big 4 Consultancy is a must
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven experience in working within strict policies and procedures
