Junior Auditor

We are looking for a Junior Auditor to join our Townsville office's Audit team, to commence employment as soon as possible.

Our Audit team provides audit and compliance services to a diverse group of clients operating in a multitude of industries. Our broad client base, which includes over 20 publicly listed companies, ensures our audit division is up to date with accounting standards, ASIC, ACNC and ASX reporting requirements and adheres to the strictest quality standards.

This job is for our Townsville office, which would require you to be located in Townsville.

We have a full-time position available for an Junior Auditor, to commence employment as soon as possible.

Duties will include:

• Working closely with Partners and the management team to ensure client work is completed to a high standard
• Assist with the planning and completion of external audit engagements to ensure key deliverables are met
• Direct client communication for the planning and preparation of fieldwork and completion of financial statements
• Invoices, billing and work in progress analysis for portfolio of clients
• Travel to and from clients around Australia as and when required
• Participation in firm internal and external training sessions

The ideal candidate will:

• Have at least 6-12 months of experience in audit in an accounting firm
• Have completed an accounting degree (BCom or BBus)
• Have commenced or be ready to commence the CA program
• Display great communication skills and be able to establish long lasting relationships with clients
• Be able to work independently or as part of a larger engagement team
• Have a sound knowledge of Australian Accounting and Auditing standards
