Due to a recently awarded ECI contract for a high-profile Rare Earth project in Alice Springs we are seeking an experienced and driven
Civil Manager to join our project team initially based in Victoria Park
.

This role will see you play an integral part in the initial setup of the project including reviewing the scope of works, selection of tenders, establishing a site-based team and subsequently play a pivotal role executing all civil activities on site during construction.


In this role, you will draw on your previous experience to:

  • Manage project commercials, budgets/construction metrics, forecasting and change management
  • Foster relationships with internal and external customers to ensure contractual requirements are met
  • Effectively manage and provide leadership to build successful work teams
  • Lead from the front in promoting an innovative culture
  • Set and achieve excellent safety performance through driving operational safety awareness and intervention
  • Prepare equipment and technical specifications for equipment and procurement.
  • Ensure project objectives are being met with regards to schedule, cost and technical performance

What you will bring:

  • A customercentric mindset and strong value of safety
  • Proven sitebased Construction/Site Management experience
  • Experience working on large scale projects and managing subcontractors
  • An engineering background with an understanding of managing large scale civil workforces
  • Proven leadership capabilities in building, developing and leading a cohesive and highperformance team
  • An innovative approach to problem solving, continuous improvement and successful delivery methods
  • Welldeveloped written and verbal communication skills, with ability to effectively prepare correspondence, reports and instructions
  • Sound knowledge working to AS/
