About the Role


Due to our rapid growth, we are looking for a vibrant and motivated team of individuals to join our journey in raising the standard of care provided to people living with a disability.


This role will be supporting a participant in his early teens living with level 3 Autism, behaviours of concern, and anxiety.

He is also non-verbal, profoundly deaf, and is prone to having seizures.


The Support Worker will need to assist with personal care, implementing behaviour support Plans, managing challenging behaviours, medication assistance, community & social engagement, meal preparation, and domestic assistance.


About You

  • Minimum 2 years' experience supporting youth with complex needs and behaviours of concern.
  • Tertiary Qualification relevant to Youth Work or Disability.
  • Knowledge of Behaviour support plans and Restrictive Practices.
  • Medication Certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Seizure management training or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience with hearing impaired and non verbal clients (Auslan training highly desirable)
  • Working with Children's Check.
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
  • Driver's License & own car with comprehensive insurance.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Flexible availability & commitment to an ongoing roster of support.
  • Must be willing to swim.
