Geospatial Business Analyst

Band 6 - Salary Range $92,304 to $100,516 per annum + 11% Super + ADO

Salary offered will depend on level of skills and experience.

The Opportunity

The position will require an applicant with significant experience with GIS systems and software to assist with the capture, data maintenance, analysis and visualisation of the thousands of Council assets acquired by the team every quarter.

This position will join the Engineering & Asset Services and report to the Coordinator Asset Management & GIS.

Key Responsibilities

• Integration of Asset Management and GIS systems with consultant systems.
• Liaising with stakeholders to gather asset data and attribute requirements.
• Cleansing asset data to adhere to requirements.
• Providing advice, support and assistance in their area of expertise to the team and staff in other Departments.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have the following:

• Tertiary Qualification in Spatial Science, Civil Engineering, Business Analytics or similar with relevant experience in this field.
• Experience in and knowledge of Asset Management principles, and maintenance processes in a Local Government environment.
• Demonstrated skills and experience in using desktop Geographic Information Systems for asset data management and analysis.
