Position Summary:

The Asset Administrator plays a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of asset data across various systems.

Reporting directly to the Asset Manager, this position involves tracking work orders, reviewing exception reports, issue logs, and daily transactions, as well as conducting data entry tasks to ensure consistency and reliability across disconnected systems.


Responsibilities:

  • Work Order Tracking: Monitor and track work orders related to asset management activities, including maintenance, repairs, and asset movements. Review and resolve exceptions in the work orders in terms of wrong or missing asset data.
  • Exception Report Review: Review exception reports to identify discrepancies, anomalies, or issues related to asset management processes. Investigate root causes of exceptions and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
  • Issue Log Management: Maintain an issue log to track and document assetrelated issues, incidents, and resolutions. Monitor the progress of issue resolution efforts and escalate unresolved issues as needed.
  • Daily Transactions Processing: Process daily transactions such as asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, depreciation and write offs accurately and efficiently. Verify transaction data against supporting documentation and ensure compliance with established procedures.
  • Data Entry and Integrity: Perform data entry tasks to update asset records, including asset descriptions, serial numbers, locations, and maintenance histories. Conduct regular audits of asset data to identify discrepancies and take corrective actions to maintain data integrity.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on asset transactions, exception trends, issue resolutions, and data quality metrics. Analyze data to identify areas for process improvement and optimization of asset management practices.

Role Requirements - Experience and Skills:

  • Previous experience in asset management, data entry, or administrative roles, preferably in the transportation or technology industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing and data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate crossfunctionally and communicate complex information clearly.
