About the Opportunity

Southern Cross University's Vice President (Students) and Registrar is in search of a skilled professional in data analytics, reporting, and project management to join our team. As the Manager, Student Support, you will play a vital role in driving student success through data interpretation and planning. Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Director, Student Support to devise and execute a holistic Student Support and Success Strategy.
  • Overseeing important student support projects as a Project Manager, ensuring meticulous planning and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Analyzing and reporting on student retention strategies to enhance student engagement and success. Building data dashboards to detect trends and address issues across various student support services.
  • Establishing systems and reports to collect and analyze student data from various sources, improving the student experience.
  • Managing reporting for SSAF and HEPPP funding activities.
About You

If you are a talented data analyst or project manager, driven by attention to detail and motivated to provide valuable insights through complex data analysis, you could be the perfect fit. Requirements include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Data and Analytics, Data Science, Business, Statistics, or Project Management, coupled with relevant experience.
  • Strong expertise in data analytics, reporting, dashboard development, and proficiency in tools like Excel, Cognos, Tableau, PowerBI, STATA, and SPSS.
  • Experience in project management, strategic planning, and survey data analysis, with advanced knowledge of Qualtrics.
