IAM Project Manager - Sydney or Melbourne

Location: Roles are based in Sydney or Melbourne, but a hybrid approach is supported.

Leading GLOBAL private health care provider with a vision of being a world leader in digital healthcare are embarking on a portfolio of transformational work to uplift their Identity and Access Management (IAM) capability to support the Digital Transformation for patients, clinicians and staff. Many of these projects are at shaping stage, and we're looking for professionals with IAM experience to leave the value propositions, requirements, product selection, design, build and implementation. This portfolio of work will support a significant part their Digital plans and investment for this year and beyond.

ESSENTIAL:

  • Experience leading complex Identity and Access Management Projects and must have managed IAM federation projects in multi IDP and broker environment.
  • Experience in implementing Cloud based solutions such as Global Landing Zone and Global IDP for global user on-boarding, access requests, and governance.
  • Confident leading teams, shaping ideas and concept journeys to requirements, solution definition, build, test, deployment, hyper-care and decommissioning.
  • Confident applying structured techniques in an unstructured environment.
  • Experience working with Architects and Solution Designers translating requirements to platform capabilities, designs and implementation.
  • Manage project deliverables, track milestone and schedule progress, track and communicate project decisions, changes, exceptions, issues, and risks clearly, and provide insightful reports/workshops to senior stakeholders.
  • Be responsible for forecasting cost, billable revenue, project delivery schedule and resource utilisation of projects.
  • Leverage appropriate Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DevOps or Hybrid methods based on the program needs. And, from a technical perspective, an ability to understand cloud services environments, processes and translate the fundamentals into business needs is pivotal.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills and proven ability to work with stakeholders at multiple levels and from different disciplines.
  • Highly motivated, and self-driven with a positive attitude and exceptional attention to detail.
  • PMBoK or PRINCE2 certified.
  • Previous experience in the health care sector and working with confidential / private health data.
  • Experience in working with Okta, Entra ID, CyberArk product set.
  • Experience working with sponsors, product owners and systems experts in greenfield or early concept environments and leading through influence.
  • Deep and broad experience with IT environments including Identity and Access Management, network, cloud and related technology applications.
  • Familiarity with IAM domains such as Authentication, Authorisation, PAM and information security frameworks such as with NIST or ISO 27001
  • Planning: Facilitate cross-team planning and estimation of high-quality identity cloud solutions. Facilitate scope discussions, analyse, evaluate, and deploy cutting-edge Azure solutions aligned with the Global Enterprise Identity objectives and operational challenges.
  • Prioritisation: Help facilitate prioritisation conversations if resource contention, or other project-related issues, arise. Facilitate appropriate escalation to leadership if conflicts cannot be resolved.
  • Validate key design options and present proposal solutions, facilitating technical workshops with program teams and SMEs.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with cross functional teams from the Data, TechOps, Enterprise Architect and Cyber Security to ensure dependencies are exposed and scope is well understood.
  • Track and monitor project status, ensuring risks are reviewed & mitigated, issues are escalated & resolved, and changes are documented & approved.
  • Ensure proper and timely project communication to all internal and external stakeholders (status reports, steering committee, resource managers, etc.).
  • Facilitate reviews of IAM objectives with Sr. Management, as needed.
  • Team Structure & Staffing: Ensure your project teams are adequately staffed for flawless execution. Forecast and track team resource needs.
  • Budget Management: Proactively and accurately manage IAM project financials to meet department planning, forecasting, and reporting deadlines.
  • Risk Management: Own tracking and mitigating risk & issues across IAM deliverables
  • Engage in change management activities and training initiatives for successful cloud identity solution adoption.
