  • Role: EDUCATOR (NON-MAJOR) YEAR 3 AND SUBSEQUENT (Fixed Term - 6 Months, Part-time: 48 Hours Per Fortnight)
  • Salary: $71,776.42 per annum + Superannuation

About The Team

The Patient Service Centre, part of the Surgical Services Program at Alfred Health, plays a crucial role in overseeing various surgical services across multiple sites. With a focus on elective surgery waiting lists, medical elective waiting lists, and preadmission clinics, the team ensures efficient and effective patient care delivery.

About The Role

We are seeking a dynamic Peri-operative Coordinator for our ENDOSCOPY unit within the Patient Service Centre. The role involves managing patients' elective surgery journey, coordinating necessary tests/scans, and ensuring all pre-procedure requirements are met. The coordinator collaborates closely with medical units, anaesthesia departments, and the Endoscopy unit to provide seamless care for patients.

  • Extensive experience in acute medical/surgical nursing
  • Desirable experience in Endoscopy
  • Strong critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to work independently
  • In-depth knowledge of surgical patient management
  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Post graduate qualification desirable
