THE COMPANY:

People2People is delighted to be partnered with an instantly recognisable, global freight forwarder organisation located in Melbourne's North-West.

This busy and dynamic air freight warehouse operates 7 days a week so there is weekend, public holiday and overtime work required.


THE ROLE:

This is a temp position with no end date. Offering full time hours with overtime.

  • Monday
  • Thursday 8:30am 5:30pm
  • Friday 5:30am 5:30pm
  • Either a 6 hour shift on Saturday and Sunday
  • 1 weekend a month off & 3 weeks are a 6day week
  • Hours may change depending on freight/deliveries
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Load and unload freight from trucks, aircraft equipment and sea freight containers with a forklift
  • Build export consoles both Air and Sea
  • Collect and deliver freight directly to and from the airlines
  • Other warehouse duties

ABOUT YOU:

You will have:

  • Experience working in air freight, freight forwarding, import and/ or exportrelated industries
  • A switched on and hardworking attitude
  • Current Forklift Licence
  • HR Truck Licence (optional)
  • Able to pass a police check
