About the role


We are currently seeking a Service Support Compliance Officer responsible for liaising with MICM Contractors engaged for compliance and other compliance areas for the Property Management Department.


Responsibilities will include...

  • Liaising with Contractors engaged by MICM for compliance as per the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA), in relation to Smoke Alarms, Electrical and Gas Safety Checks, Insurance and any other areas as directed.
  • Organizing keys and or key lists for Contractors to collect and ensuring all keys are returned and put away in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with relevant stakeholders in relation to any maintenance that is identified during the safety checks and ensuring that repairs are completed as per the timelines of the RTA legislation.
  • Maintaining accurate records and notes in Reapit.
  • Monitoring and reporting for all compliance inspections.
  • Escalating any highrisk issues (inspections overdue by 45 days or more) to the Department or General Manager in a timely manner.
  • Undertake other duties as required and ensure that all tasks are completed accurately within a timely manner and with a professional and ethical approach.

What you need to succeed in the role...


Demonstrate initiative in ownership of the role, following up on invoices with contractors, overdue inspections and driving the performance of the contractors providing the compliance services.


  • Accurate data entry.
  • Sound Computer literacy in SharePoint, Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility, time management and the ability to work with mínimal supervision
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to accurately interpret legislation and terminology relating to Property Management.
  • Initiative and problem solving ability.
