THE ROLE

An increase in activity at The Parks Theatre has created an opportunity to join our skilled and enthusiastic team as a Theatre Technician.

The Theatre Technician is a key position in delivering a high-quality theatrical events to the community. This diverse role will aid with technical operations including stage productions, lighting, sound, audio visual, mechanist, room set ups and customer service.

This role requires someone with versatility and strength in at least either audio or lighting and a willingness to develop new skills in all areas of theatrical production.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Successful candidates will also have, or be willing to obtain:

  • HLTAID011 Provide First Aid or equivalent
  • HLTAID009 Perform CPR or equivalent
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol or Responsible Person
  • Certificate of completion for "Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect – Education and Care" (RRHAN-EC) training
