Our Purpose

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer our new Chief Architect will lead a team of Enterprise and Solution Architecture professionals with key people outcomes across people leadership, capability uplift, career pathing & creating a community of practice. This fabulous career opportunity will see you be accountable for defining the architecture roadmaps require to execute the Business & Technology strategies. You will also be accountable for managing the supply & demand of architectural resources for delivery and be actively involved in assuring delivery quality.

At our company, everything will be at scale, so you'll need demonstrated experience, energy and inspirational leadership qualities building, developing and managing a high performing team ensuring all key architecture deliverables when ensuring all architecture resources have appropriate skills & capability to deliver outcomes. This role will be instrumental to deliver our technology solution roadmap by utilising your experience and skills in the following areas, you will excel when leveraging your existing capabilities across;

  • Extensive demonstrated experience as an architecture leader with a desire for people leadership
  • Extensive experience as a technologist and architect – you have a broad and deep technical experience across many technology domains and can help architects land the right decisions
  • Extensive experience in leading, mentoring and developing employees
  • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills across all levels of the organisation and with key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of formal delivery frameworks, methodologies & tools
  • A background in software engineering or cloud engineering and progression through architecture will be a distinct advantage
  • Demonstrated successful experience in the development of IT strategy and architecture for a similar sized organisation
  • Demonstrated experience in general management & people leadership skills to lead technical teams
