Job Description:

Workshop Boilermaker

BENEFITS

Your New Company:

From repair to complete rebuilds you will be working alongside a leader in the Fabrication, Construction, Oil and Gas and Engineering sectors in Queensland. Offering a complete one stop shop, with a modern fully equipped workshop.

Your New Role:

  • Industrial Fabrication and Welding (medium to heavy)
  • Construction and Engineering project tasks coming into the workshop
  • Main Roads, Education and Large Manufacturing Facility projects.
  • Travel daily to and from Gold Coast workshop working Monday to Friday + Saturdays (if interested)
  • 60 hours / week available consistently.
  • Various rosters e.g. Monday to Friday 12-hour shifts

Must have:

  • Australian Recognised – Certificate 3 in Engineering Boilermaking
  • Live / reside locally and can travel to and from Gold Coast workshop
  • Fabricators that can weld or Welders that can fabricate
  • Pass MIG plate weld test vertical / horizontal
  • Commit to a minimum 3-months work
  • Read and understand isometric drawings, P&ID's
  • Valid Australian Drivers Licence & White Card

Desirable:

  • Gantry Crane / Forklift - current licence
  • Maintenance/Shutdown/Construction exposure & experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Keen on a long-term opportunity
