Our client, an independent statutory Government agency, is seeking nearly/newly qualified actuaries to join their team.

About the role

  • Act as the lead analyst on projects and reporting, leading project meetings, and reviewing work of junior analysts.
  • Provide detailed technical and professional advice on complex problems to internal and external stakeholders, including developing and delivering presentations and reports.
  • Assist in designing actuarial, statistical and mathematical models to undertake analytical work that responds to business issues.
  • Extracting, cleansing and preparing of data from internal and external sources.
  • Assist with responses to ad hoc requests for data analysis, modelling and report production.

About you
-
Must be an Australian citizen
:

  • Nearly/newly qualified as an Actuary with the Australian Institute of Actuaries or equivalent.
  • Experience with the following software/programming languages: Excel, VBA, SAS, Python, R, and/or SQL.
  • Detailoriented, highly analytical and previous experience working with large datasets.
