JOB SUMMARY
You are responsible for managing and improving the efficiency of our inwards goods warehousing and receival.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Optimise daytoday warehousing operations.
  • Ensure all goods are received in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Ensure production and packing have all the packaging and raw materials required for the days scheduled operations.
  • Ensure all deliveries match suppliers delivery docket and are entered in to the inventory system.
  • Monitor all deliveries due and advise if suppliers have not delivered
  • Unloading and loading of trucks
  • Conduct Regular Cycle counts on inventory.
  • Ensure warehouse and yard area is kept clean
  • Book Chep pallets and pallecons delivery and Pick up
  • Ensure all goods are stored in accordance with company Food Safety Program
  • Ensure all operation processes take place in accord with the company's Food Safety and Quality Assurance Program (FSQP) and OH&S legislation
  • Maintain accurate and timely recordkeeping and paperwork

OTHER FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to a positive and productive work environment
  • Work closely with QA to maintain and improve our FSQP
  • Ensure all pallets are labelled correctly.
  • Work closely with production and packing room Team Leaders and personnel, providing assistance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of our operations
  • Cover Dispatch store person in their absence
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
  • Assist with other warehouse functions as required

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent, Casual

Salary:
$ $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay
  • Penalty rates
