The Role
Joining as a Field Service Technician in the greater Hunter region, you will operate independently to meet client needs. Your responsibilities will include a diverse range of tasks such as repairs, troubleshooting, and reconditioning heavy diesel engines used in mining operations. This role offers the chance to work on various OEM engines and equipment, learning from experienced industry professionals. Building strong relationships with colleagues and customers is crucial, highlighting the significance of your technical and communication skills in achieving success.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch service to mining clients
  • Conduct maintenance, both reactive and preventive, on mining and mobile plant equipment
  • Perform engine reconditioning tasks like troubleshooting, rebuilding, and stripping
  • Complete job reports using internal software efficiently
  • Engage with cutting-edge high horse power diesel engines

Requirements:

  • Possession of an Australian trade cert III in Heavy Vehicle/Mobile Plant or Light Vehicle
  • Demonstrated experience in engine repairs, rebuilds, and reconditioning
  • Strong teamwork and communication abilities
