Reporting to the Senior Procurement Supervisor, the
Procurement Specialist provides an opportunity for a motivated, knowledgeable and resilient team member to take ownership of a key role in our Supply Chain team.


Ideally, you are someone with a high attention to detail and can work autonomously or collaboratively to ensure the stakeholder needs are met.

This position engages directly with Australian and US based team members, providing a true global experience.

It has a high customer focus and building internal and external affinity with key personnel is critical to success.

Key responsibilities of your new role include

  • Creating and processing requisitions through to purchase orders, as well as onboarding vendors to system (namely, Ariba);
  • Liaising with suppliers and delivery teams to ensure the delivery of goods and services on time and in full;
  • Sourcing materials and services whilst simultaneously reviewing market pricing structures;
  • Communicate proactively with stakeholders to prioritise work in a time sensitive environment;
  • Analyse root causes to enable issue resolution and contribute to continuous improvement objectives; as well as, analysing and reporting against objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Model company values and comply with policies, procedures and governance requirements.

Skills, attributes and experience:

  • Minimum 3 years proven background and experience in procurement/purchasing to pay environment is essential;
  • Experience and competency navigating SAP for purchasing and reporting responsibilities;
  • Supply chain/procurement credentials as well as experience working in Ariba or comparable system is highly desirable;
  • Proven ability to work within tight deadlines in a complex environment.
  • Previous experience within government/defence/aerospace sector is desirable but not essential.
