The Innovation and Redesign Unit at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Director to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunityThe role will manage and drive improvements/innovation with a broad MHHS focus that requires a high level of project management and return-on-investment analysis, facilitation and stakeholder engagement to ensure senior level clinical partnership in resolving problems and harnessing opportunities that benefit them as key MIRI IRU customers.

has 6 hospitals, 2 multi-purpose health services and 4 community health centres that employ more than 3,700 staff.

The district covers an area of approximately 90,000km2 and provides services to patients and their families in Bowen, Cannonvale, Clermont, Collinsville, Dysart, Glenden, Mackay, Middlemount, Moranbah, Proserpine and Sarina.
