The Learning and Practice Development Unit of Jesuit Social Services is looking to recruit to the role of
Practice Consultant.

In the role you will assist in the delivery of the annual internal training calendar, facilitate reflective practice session with range of programs and assist with a variety of unique and interesting projects.

Desired Skills and Experience:

About you:

  • Demonstrated skill and experience as a practitioner, including the management and supervision of teams in the community service sector (relevant practice areas: homelessness, justice, AOD, mental health, community development).
  • Demonstrated skill and experience in the development and delivery of staff development initiatives including leading reflective practice and staff training, both in person and online.
  • A strong influencing and engaging leadership style
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to fulfil reporting and administrative requirements associated with the position
  • Understanding and sympathy with the mission and ethos of Jesuit Social Services

About the program:

Drawing on our experience of engaging with disadvantaged people, families and communities through our services and programs, the Jesuit Social Services Learning and Practice Development Unit has three key functions:

  • Ensuring Jesuit Social Services' _Our Way of Working_ framework is embedded across all service delivery areas
  • Developing and promoting bestpractice interventions for disadvantaged young people, families and communities, in line with _Our Way of Working_ framework.
  • Ensuring a sound evidence base is built across the organisation: through internal evaluation mechanisms, program documentation and the implementation of quality processes.
