We have an opportunity for a Medical Education Officer work collaboratively with Junior Medical Officers at both Gosford and Wyong.

What you'll be doing

  • To administratively support medical education and training at Gosford, Wyong and Woy Woy Hospitals ensuring high standards of development and education of Junior Medical Officers (JMOs). This includes support for all matters relating to the accreditation, welfare, education and training requirements for all JMOs; administration support to the Directors of Prevocational Education and Training (DPET) as well as monitoring progress, assessment and education for all International Medical Graduates (IMGs) in the Workplace Based Assessment Program and administrative support to the IMG DPET.
  • An important part of the position pertains to the promotion of teamwork within the Medical Education Unit at all times. Additionally, the position assists the Team Leader, Medical Education during the period of peak activity and is able to work independently within the department's policies and procedures.
