About the role

The staff member in this role works closely with the Manager and the Senior Data Management Officer in the Clinical Costing team.

They will require a working knowledge or the ability to acquire knowledge of the maintenance and costing methodologies associated with processing whilst proactively looking for quality improvement opportunities to enhance the output of data within West Moreton Hospital and Health Service (WMHHS).

About you

  • Demonstrated knowledge & skills, or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge & skills in maintaining Clinical Costing Systems & linkages to associated Feeder Systems.
  • Capability to respond to requests by interpreting, gathering, and sourcing information with the ability to identify the information requirements to develop complex reports utilising SQL queries via Crystal and IntelPlus.
  • Demonstrated competence in interpersonal skills, consultation & effective communication with multidisciplinary groups of professionals with both internal & external clients across the organisation.
  • Possess a level of analytical problem solving, statistical gathering techniques & critical evaluation skills in a clinical costing environment.
  • Knowledge of or the ability to rapidly acquire skills in clinical costing systems and costing methodologies with an understanding of public hospital and activitybased funding models.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • Whilst not mandatory, a current Crystal License would be highly regarded.
  • Whilst not mandatory, a working knowledge of clinical costing systems and costing methodologies with an understanding of public hospital and activitybased funding models would be beneficial.
