Diesel Mechanic

We are currently seeking Diesel Mechanics to join our team based in Keysborough. The ideal candidates will have a strong mechanical background and expertise in diesel engines.

As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Salary:
$55 per hour + Superannuation (includes casual loading)

Overtime:
Overtime is available daily and on Saturdays if you wish.

Shift:
Day shift- 7:00am to 3:30pm

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday (Friday Finish 1:30pm)

Key Responsibilities:
Conducting diagnostics to identify issues with diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical components.
Performing repairs and replacements on diesel engines, fuel systems, brakes, and electrical systems.
Conducting routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks.
Troubleshooting mechanical problems and developing effective solutions.
Adhering to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or similar role.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
Flexibility to work afternoon shifts
