What this opportunity involves:

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Finance professional to join us to be our Project Analyst, Finance.


Based on account in the Melbourne CBD with a key player in the telecommunication industry, you will report to the FP&A Manager and assist with the financial analysis and reporting for the legal restructure.


Please note that this is a 5-months fixed-term contract ending 31st August 2023, with the possibility of an extension or conversion.


What this role involves:

Month-end & reporting analysis To provide comprehensive financial analysis and reporting services for legal restructure
Own and manage the month-end process for legal restructure activities
Provide monthly finance reporting
Manage the monthly split reporting queries for P&L, Balance sheet and other financial and management reporting as requested
Provide analysis and assist with client queries as required

Budgeting & Forecasting processes Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes for legal entity split purposes

Other Participate in any other ad-hoc activities as directed by the FP&A Manager
To achieve KPI, financial, and other targets as established

Tertiary education in Accounting or Finance
Achievement of or studying towards professional qualifications (CA or CPA) will be highly regarded
Good financial analytical and reporting skills, experience in accounting or finance functions
Good interpersonal skills to manage a diverse range of stakeholders (both internal and external)
A team player with ability to regularly engage and contributes to team discussions and problem solving / brainstorming sessions
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex deliverables on a daily and project basis.
Sound written and oral communication skills, and the capacity to deal with ambiguity and complex problems
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks within competing timelines
Intermediate to Advance Excel proficiency
