We have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join our Government & Administrative Law team in Sydney working with Karwan Eskerie and Mia Donald.

About the team and the work

The group fosters a genuine, collaborative and cohesive team culture. The national team has been acknowledged many times for their commitment to exceptional client experience, technical excellence and to the people who make the team what it is.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • File management across a busy litigation practice
  • Monthly billing
  • Assisting with the preparation of legal documents
  • Client reporting and compliance
  • Diary and inbox management
  • Ad hoc administrative tasks

The role is permanent full-time offering some flexibility. It will suit a candidate who is looking for a diverse and challenging range of work in a supportive team.

About you

  • At least 12 months administration experience in a law firm, ideally in a busy litigation practice
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Proactive approach to work
  • Highly organised and able to manage competing deadlines and priorities
