You will have key responsibilities:

  • Promote safe working behaviours and display a commitment to safety standards and OHS requirements
  • Act as a first point of contact for the site team to provide HSEQ assistance, advice and direction.
  • Lead the site team to develop the required Risk assessment/SOPs and JSA as needed
  • Conduct HSEQ induction for the new starters, work with the site team to maintain the site training matrix
  • Identify and facilitate HSEQ risk ownership
  • Facilitate risk assessments, review incidents, and undertake investigations; identify learnings and opportunities for improvement for low and moderate risk incidents
  • Work with the Quality Manager to implement the quality SOPs by conducting the quality check/testing as required and maintain record

About you:

  • Tertiary qualification or minimum certificate IV in OHS required
  • Current and valid driver's licence
  • Working understanding of national Health and Safety legislation and quality audit processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
