The Role


We are looking for a full-time, intermediate Legal Assistant to join our Brisbane office to work in our Real Estate team.

Working with a number of authors including a Special Counsel and paralegals, with a focus on property development.

The role will be varied including the following key responsibilities:

  • Document drafting, amendment and management including via the document management system;
  • Proactively managing and updating the Property Developer Data;
  • Accurately undertaking property searches as directed from time to time;
  • Managing monies in trust accounts;
  • Proactive diary management and meeting coordination;
  • Occasional banking;
  • Proactively assisting in management of high volume development and conveyancing; and
  • Working with the other Legal Assistants in the team and broader Brisbane office.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with internal and external parties;
  • Excellent attention to detail;
  • Ability to multitask and manage deadlines;
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team; and
