Approach Consulting has been appointed to assist the expansion of this national firm's practice in Canberra, concentrating on addressing Commercial Law issues within the Commonwealth Government. As a member of the Australian Government Legal Services Panel, the Canberra division can utilize its established connections and outstanding reputation to deliver top-notch Commercial Law services to major Commonwealth departments.

With a robust portfolio of Commonwealth Government cases from prominent departments, this practice is dedicated to enriching their team with the right individuals. The organizational culture is of utmost importance.

Your team comprises top-tier partners, special counsels, and senior associates, utilizing their domestic and international expertise to offer premium legal services to the Commonwealth. In a specialized environment, you will engage in assignments and prospects that may require years to access in other firms. You will be involved in a wide range of projects covering general commercial tasks, technology procurement and negotiation, strategic counsel, and major initiatives. Depending on needs, there are possibilities for Commonwealth assignments. The primary location for this position will be within the firm.

The Managing Partner advocates for the autonomy, diligence, and versatility of team members to operate beyond the conventional structures and constraints commonly found in larger firms.

Does your professional background align with this opportunity?

Ideally, you should possess over 5 years of Post Admission Experience working as a commercial attorney in a top-tier or reputable national law practice, with a notable focus on general commercial activities and technology procurement. Prior experience within the Commonwealth is advantageous but not mandatory.
