As a Campos Coffee Roaster, you'll ensure that our coffee is consistently roasted to highlight the delicious flavours and that there's enough coffee to go around to satisfy all our customer's demands.

You will be based in the Campos Headquarters in Banksmeadow where we roast our beans. You will work from Monday to Friday, from 11 AM to 7 PM. Flexibility in working hours is required, including occasional Saturday shifts. You will be paid for any overtime and compensated for working on a Saturday.

In this role, you will:

  • Roast coffee according to the required sensory profile
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure all roasts are ready in time
  • Minimise wastage
  • Learn about coffees (origins, roast profiles, tastes) from our coffee experts and join regular cupping sessions
  • Follow all safety protocols
  • Lift up to 24kg bags safely

About you
As a Campos Roaster, you'll seriously care about doing a great job. You'll love contributing to the team and the company, and you're passionate about providing outstanding customer service.

We're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • You are detail-oriented
  • You can focus well and you do not get distracted during work
  • You are open to doing repetitive work
  • You love coffee and are excited to learn how to roast the Campos way and join cupping sessions
  • You are available from Monday to Friday, 11AM7PM and are open to take occasional additional shifts / work flexible hours
  • You are willing and physically fit enough to lift up to 24 kg (we'll teach you how)
  • You have valid AU working rights
