The position:

Currently, we are on the lookout for a Lawyer with 1-3 years of post-admission experience to join our Corporate Health, Aged Care & Retirement Living division in Brisbane.

The selected individual will collaborate closely with specialized partners in the health, aged care, and retirement village sectors. An ideal candidate will have a depth of experience in corporate advisory, transactions, or disputes, particularly within highly regulated industries.

Qualifications:

We seek a candidate who can effectively and independently engage with high-profile clients. The right fit would be a solution-oriented, commercially savvy lawyer with a diverse skill set. Essential attributes include strong technical proficiency, meticulous attention to detail, exceptional communication and organizational abilities, analytical and drafting skills, and a dedication to nurturing client relations and facilitating practice growth.

Preferably, you are a talented, driven professional who thrives in a collaborative setting. This role presents a genuine opportunity to contribute to a progressive and expanding firm, becoming a key member of the unified, growing team.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have prior experience advising clients in heavily regulated sectors;
  • Possess a genuine interest in health, aged care, and retirement living segments;
  • Showcase excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in client interactions;
  • Demonstrate proactive initiative, autonomy, and collaborative teamwork;
  • Exhibit keen attention to detail, client-focused service, and enthusiasm towards work;
  • Showcase top-notch time management and organizational skills;
  • Be proficient in using FileSite or a similar document management system.
