JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Role

Team Global Express is currently seeking multiple Forklift Operators to commence immediately at our Mackay Depot. These are Full Time, Permanent opportunities to join our team and apply your experience by loading and coordinating freight for our local and regional customers. At Team Global Express, 82% of our employees find our salary offerings to be competitive or above industry standards. That's why we provide a Location Allowance in addition to your standard hourly rate.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

  • $29.64 Per Hour Plus 15% Superannuation. You will also receive a Location Allowance which applies to all Ordinary Hours worked prior to any Overtime Commitments.
  • These are Full Time Permanent roles; 7.6 hours x 5 Days a week with Overtime Available
  • Weekend work is also available and will be offered on a need by need basis
  • You must hold a valid LF Forklift License.
  • Must have previous experience in a similar role
  • Must have a safety first approach and demonstrate WHS practices and procedures consistently
  • Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes
  • Loading and unload general freight of various sizes in a safe and compliant manner
  • Be able to handle freight items manually and safely as required
  • Learn and operate inhouse scanner devices to an efficient standard
  • Ensure that any Dangerous Goods to be loaded are segregated and restrained accordingly
  • Accurately sort and load freight into designated dock areas and onto delivery vehicles with a high degree of accuracy
