The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking a Sheetmetal Fabrication Apprentice to join
Infraco at their workshop in
Kunda Park.


Infraco is an industry leader in providing construction and maintenance services to corporate and commercial clients for over 20 years.

The company specialises in the fabrication of a variety of products including balustrades, handrails, screens, and gates.

Job Details:


You will learn all aspects of sheetmetal fabrication including working with detailed drawings, welding, light metal fabrication, and operating hand and machine tools including CNC equipment.


Undertaking this
four-year apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified tradesperson in the metal fabrication field and earn your
MEM31922 Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade (Sheetmetal).

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Welding and light fabrication of various works
  • Welding aluminium
  • Custom manufacturing

Benefits:

  • Full time 4year contract including paid annual and personal leave
  • Paid weekly
  • Access to 1:1 mentoring
  • Monday to Friday, 6:00am 2:00pm
  • The chance to learn from experienced tradespeople

About You:

You will need:

  • Valid driver's licence
  • White Card
  • Positive attitude and a genuine interest in the trade
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to be flexible and respectful of others
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Willing to work, listen and learn what tradespeople teach you
  • Industry experience advantageous
  • Good safety awareness
  • Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen, and Police Check
