Job Title: Head of MSAT - Biologics

Location: Germany

I am collaborating with a successful mid-sized biotechnology company based in Germany, dedicated to moving forward innovative therapies in the biologics field. We are in need of an experienced Head of MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology) with proficiency in implementing state-of-the-art CMC (Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls) strategies and a strong history of leading teams successfully.

Position Overview: As the Head of MSAT, you will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing MSAT strategies for our expanding biologics portfolio. This position requires a forward-thinking leader who can foster innovation, optimize manufacturing processes, and establish and guide a dynamic MSAT team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement MSAT strategies to improve the efficiency of biologics manufacturing processes.
  • Guide, mentor, and motivate the MSAT team, cultivating a culture of ongoing improvement and technical expertise.
  • Collaborate across functions to guarantee smooth technology transfer and successful process scaling.
  • Tackle complex technical challenges in biologics manufacturing.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and industry protocols.

Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in a relevant scientific field (PhD preferred).
  • Extensive experience in leading roles within MSAT, specifically in biopharmaceuticals.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing innovative CMC strategies for biologics manufacturing.
  • Effective leadership background, including team building and management.
  • Thorough knowledge of regulatory requisites for biologics production.
