Ref#: AD24-GRAD-CONAddisons is seeking an enthusiastic Law Graduate who has a strong interest in construction law to join our Construction practice on a full-time basis.


We are looking for a motivated individual who is eager to grow and establish themselves as a future specialist in construction law, both for clients and within the firm.

Our practice includes preparation and negotiation of tender and contract documentation for all sectors of the construction industry in Australia, ranging from property development to energy projects.


You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with a group of outstanding senior lawyers who specialise in handling prominent construction transactions and disputes.

The team is highly committed to their work and brings a wealth of experience to the table.

The partner leading the team has consistently been acknowledged as a top construction and infrastructure lawyer by clients and peers since 2014.

You will be part of a collaborative, knowledgeable and supportive team, gaining valuable experience in "front end" contract drafting and "back end" litigation proceedings.

As you progress in your career, you will be exposed to a variety of interesting matters with diverse clients including property developers, institutional investors, major contractors, and consultants across a range of large infrastructure, commercial, retail, and residential projects.


About you
To be considered for the role, you will have:

  • Completed Practical Legal Training or recently admitted as an Australian Lawyer
  • Outstanding academic record
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in construction law
  • Organised and proactive with a strong desire to learn
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and in a highpressure team environment
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • High level of professionalism, exceptional client service skills and ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with appropriate care.
