General/Business Unit Manager (CEO & General Management)
Woods & Co. have teamed up with a growing business in the Arboriculture sector in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. This company specializes in offering professional tree services to commercial entities such as private schools, universities, hospitals, tourist sites, business parks, aged-care facilities, and golf courses. The company is seeking a commercially savvy General Manager with industry expertise to collaborate with a strategic business owner in establishing itself as a prominent provider of premium commercial tree services in Melbourne.

Responsibilities:
- Provide continuous support, leadership, and supervision to on-site and office-based staff.
- Contribute significantly to tendering, quoting for new projects, and maintaining client relationships.
- Utilize your commercial acumen to develop a growth strategy focused on securing high-profile clients.
- Lead in recruiting, developing staff, and strategically acquiring other top-tier tree service companies.
- Ensure all machinery and equipment are up-to-date and comply with safety standards with operational support.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of Arboriculture industry experience with a strong emphasis on team leadership and operations.
- Demonstrated track record in building and retaining client bases in Arboriculture.
- Familiarity with safety standards and protocols within the industry.
- Experience in staff management, whether leading crews or running your own business.
- Proven ability to manage day-to-day business operations profitably.
