Saab 340 Captains

Rex is Australia's largest independent regional and domestic airline operating a fleet of 58 Saab 340 and 10 Boeing NG aircraft to 56 destinations throughout all states in Australia.

In addition to Rex Airlines, the Rex Group comprises wholly owned subsidiaries Pel-Air Aviation (air freight, aeromedical and charter operator) and the Australian Airline Pilot Academy with campuses in Wagga Wagga and Ballarat.

Rex is also a 50% shareholder of National Jet Express (NJE) a Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO), charter and freight service provider operating Q400, E190 and BAe146 aircraft.

Rex is seeking suitably qualified Pilots for Command positions on our SAAB 340 aircraft.
These are full-time positions based in Cairns.
We require all applicants to possess the following: Command Multi Engine IPCCivil Aviation Safety Authority Class 1 medical certificate Minimum 500 hrs Command on SAAB 340/DH8/ATR/EMB-120, or similar turbo prop aircraft above 11000kg MTOW12 months' experience in Scheduled Air Transport Operations / RPT / FIFOAustralian citizen or permanent residence status For pilots that satisfy all of the above selection criteria the position will include: No Type Rating bond provisions Recognition of experience in Scheduled Air Transport Operations / RPT operations
