The last 3 years have been huge for us, we have grown from 20 to 200+ team members with the majority of the team sitting in Melbourne at our Australian headquarters in the heart of the CBD.

We are a workplace that comes into the office everyday, however don't stress We do offer the flexibility of hybrid work when wanted.

We do try our best to create an environment to help cater towards making the commute to work everyday easier by having an in-house barista, catered breakfast daily, free weekly massages, a meditation room, all you can help yourself to drinks fridges and snack walls on our three levels, free Friday weekly company pub lunches alongside with a Friday cocktail hour.

We also have games rooms with PS5 and Nintendo Switches, alongside with a table tennis and pool table to help break up your day

About you and the role:

Your ability to write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code will set the bar for excellence within our development team.

You have successfully built and led a mobile development team, and you understand the challenges and rewards of nurturing a collaborative and high-performing team.

You possess excellent communication skills, enabling you to effectively convey technical concepts to team members, stakeholders, and clients.

Your strong leadership qualities empower you to motivate and inspire your team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
  • Make critical technical decisions regarding the architecture, frameworks, and tools used in the development process.
  • Drive the implementation of best practices and coding standards to maintain highquality code.
  • Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to the team.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to mobile app development.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to new team members, facilitating their growth and professional development.
  • Actively contribute to the team's growth by identifying training needs and organising relevant workshops or training sessions.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope, resource allocation, and development timelines based on team capacity.

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work in a fastpaced, Agile development environment.

It would be a bonus if you also had (Desirable skills):

  • Sports & Gambling knowledge advantageous
  • Cryptocurrency knowledge would be advantageous
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Spreadsheets, Docs), Slack, Airtable & Intercom
