As a registered nurse specialising in Anaesthetics, you will be responsible for the provision of comprehensive, safe and holistic care for patients throughout the perioperative period. Whilst delivering optimal patient centred care, you will demonstrate Calvary's key values of Hospitality, Healing, Stewardship and Respect in daily practice. Key Responsibilities
    • Ensure an environment that fosters team work, open communication and support.
    • Effective recognition and response to the deteriorating patient.
    • Support a culture of continuous improvement, safety and quality of patient care
    • Upholding the principles and practices of infection control by observing Infection Control Guidelines and Standard Precautions as outlined in the Infection Control Manual
    • Maintenance of annual competencies and those competencies required to fulfil the needs of the specific area of expertise
    What you bring
    • Current AHPRA Registration
    • Demonstrated recent clinical experience as a anaesthetic nurse in an operating theatre and/or hospital setting
    • Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
    • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
    • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
