We have a rare opportunity for a knowledgeable and experienced
Export Salesperson (Japan) to join our Northern Operations business selling for the largest beef producer in Australia.
You will have extensive experience in the meat industry with a high level of product & technical knowledge across beef.
Your systematic approach to business development and the sales process, coupled with your ability to differentiate and align our brands with market opportunities will enable you to optimise revenue and product values across your portfolio.
On a personal level, you are energetic, passionate and enthusiastic with excellent problem-solving skills. Above all, you must want to be part of a cohesive team that works for each other.
Located at Riverview, near Ipswich in south east Queensland, the role will work within our experienced Sales team based at the Northern Operations Head Office.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Beef sales to Japanese wholesale and retail customers
- Development of new client accounts
- After sales coordination of orders with production and shipping staff
- After sales follow up with clients on various production and shipping matters
- Some domestic and international travel may be required
About you:
years sales/marketing experience (preferably in beef)
- Degree qualifications or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in an export sales environment
- Ability to establish new relationships and build on existing business relationships
- Highly developed negotiation and communication skills
- Able to work effectively as part of a team both internally and externally
- Japanese language skills / cultural understanding essential
