About the opportunity
As our Retail Postage Sorter, you'll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected.
As you'd expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day - and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.
About the role:
- Opportunity to join our relief team where you will work across the following locations: Altona, Altona North, Werribee, Werribee Plaza, Tarneit, Point Cook & Hoppers Crossing
- 6 Months Fixed Term, Part Time | 15 hours per week
- Working Monday to Friday, 6AM 9AM
You'll be:
- Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace
- Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes
- Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance
About you
You're friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously. You're motivated by the opportunity to help make a difference to your community.
You'll also need to:
- Call upon your memory and handeye coordination while sorting
- Be fit to lift up to 16kgs of mail regularly and stand for your shift
